Accra Sessions
La Foundation of the Arts · Accra, Ghana
Five episodes with West Coast Ebusua, cut in Accra.
Every Accra episode is played with West Coast Ebusua, the Ghanaian collective hosting the series in the city, from the opening ode to K. Frimpong through Fela's "Row Your Boat" and a Valentine's special on Kojo Antwi's "Mfa Me Nkoho".
Highlife lineage first: palmwine guitar figures, horns and percussion carrying reworked covers like "Killing Me Softly" and "All Night Long", all played straight through.
